Anupama Parameswaran’s recent social media posts led to speculation about her breakup with rumoured boyfriend Dhruv Vikram. The actress worked with Dhruv in the 2025 film Bison Kaalamaadan. While netizens believed that Anupama’s posts hinted at her breakup, she has now issued a clarification over the same. At a promotional event of Crazy Kalyanam, Anupama broke her silence on the speculation, stating that she was not ‘venting out’. The actress added that it is her Instagram account and she can post whatever she likes.

Clarifying that her posts were not directed at any person, stated that she decides what she wants to post on her social media. The actress added that she talked about transition of a woman and feels proud about that. She further said that people should not assume that they know everything about her life based on what she shares online.

Earlier, on her Instagram handle, Anupama had shared a long note about letting go off the dead ends to finally end peace. “From today, I choose my voice. I choose my life. No more permissions. No more fear. Just me, finding my way back to myself and falling in love with the life I almost forgot was mine,” she said.
The actress added that she wanted to say something for a very long time, however, she wasn’t allowed to do it. Anupama further thanked her fans for their support, stating that their messages, prayers and kindness reached her when she needed them the most. “Here’s to healing. Here’s to freedom. Here’s to choosing myself. And here’s to a life that is finally, completely, unapologetically my own,” she added.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Anupama will next be seen in director Badrappa Gajula’s Crazy Kalyanam. Co-starring Naresh, Tarun Bhascker and Akhil Uddemari in key roles, the movie’s theatrical release has not been announced yet. However, the film’s teaser was released on August 1.
