More than 1 lakh protesters marched under the banner of anti -immigration activist Tommy Robinson. Police also said that several officers were attacked during the protests. They were beaten up.

According to the police, about 110,000 people participated in the event known as “Unite the Kingdom” March. Robinson’s rally took place with a protest called “stand against racism”. About 5,000 people participated in it. The Metropolitan police had to intervene several times a day to prevent clashes between the two demonstrations.

Police said several officers were attacked during the protests. Due to this, additional force was deployed. This included officers wearing security equipment and mounted troops to help restore the system.

During the protest, people took flag and red-white St. George Cross. Some also waved American and Israeli flags. Several protesters wore caps with “America re -make the US great” associated with US President Donald Trump. Slogans were being raised criticizing Prime Minister Kir Starmer and placards with messages like “send them home” were also visible. Some people also brought their children to the program.

Tommy Robinson’s real name is Stephen Yaxley-Lenn. He presented the “Unite the Kingdom” March as a celebration of freedom of expression. In this rally, activists mourned the recent death of American orthodox leader Charlie Kirk. He was shot and killed earlier this week.
