Anti-Hindu, Pro-DMK: Sivakarthikeyan Parasakthi Lands In Political Sto

Sivakarthikeyan’s film, Parasakthi has landed in trouble after the Tamil Nadu Youth Congress condemned the film and accused the makers of allegedly distorting the history and defaming Congress leaders, including late Prime Minister Indira Gandhi and K Kamaraj.

The political party has issued the statement against the Parasakthi makers and demanded ban on the film. The party has also demanded the removal of allegedly fabricated scenes and a public apology from the makers. Youth Congress has also threatened to take legal action if makers don’t fulfill their demands. The spokesperson of Tamil Nadu Youth Congress shared the statement on social media.

Ban Parasakhi: Tamil Nadu Youth Congress Demands

.In the statement, the Congress leader stated, “Parasakthi is a film that must be strictly banned.” According to him, the film shows a fictional scene in which Sivakarthikeyan’s character meets Indira Gandhi, who is seen ‘speaking in a villainous manner’.

Arun Bhaskar further mentioned, “The foolish team that produced this film seems completely unaware that the law does not permit the imaginary portrayal of deceased national leaders in events that never occurred in history. They have recklessly created scenes that have no historical basis whatsoever. In totality, this entire film is built on the filmmakers’ own fabricated imagination and is completely contrary to historical truth.”

Bhaskar also claimed that the scenes shown in Parasakthi never occurred in history. Hence, the political wing is demanding the removal of such scenes from the film on an immediate basis. He concluded the statement with a hashtag #BanParasakthiMovie.

It has to be noted that the makers of Sivakarthikeyan’s Parasakthi have not yet issued a statement over the row. Directed by Sudha Kongara, the Tamil film was released on January 10. It also stars Ravi Mohan, Sreeleela and others in key roles.
