Anil Kapoor’s Daughter Rhea Kapoor Robbed Of Earrings Worth Rs 1.35 Crore, Mumbai Police Launch Probe

Filmmaker and entrepreneur Rhea Kapoor, younger daughter of Anil Kapoor and sister of actor Sonam Kapoor, has been robbed of a pair of diamond earrings worth Rs 1.35 crore.

Mumbai Police have registered a case and initiated an investigation into the high-value jewellery theft.

According to reports, the jewellery was stolen from the handbag of her makeup artist, Savleen Singh.

d been rented from two Mumbai-based jewellers for a high-profile fashion event.

Rhea’s team reportedly flew from Mumbai to Dubai on the night of April 27 before travelling onward to New York.

They landed at John F. Kennedy International Airport on April 28 at around 5.30 pm and checked into The Pierre Hotel.

As per an IANS report, makeup artist Savleen opened the jewellery boxes in her hotel room to hand the earrings over to a team member, but found the boxes to be empty.

The missing items included emerald-stone diamond gold earrings worth Rs 66 lakh from Mehta Jewellers and Zambian emerald-stone gold-bordered earrings valued at Rs 69 lakh from Goenka Jewellers, police said.

After returning to Mumbai, Savleen filed a police complaint and an FIR was registered under Section 303(2) of the BNS at Mumbai’s Sahar police station.

Rhea and her family are yet to comment on the incident.

Rhea has produced films like ‘Crew’ (2024), ‘Veere Di Wedding’ (2018) and ‘Khoobsurat’ (2014), under Anil Kapoor Films and Communication Network (AKFCN).
