Vedanta Chairman Anil Aggarwal has reiterated his old promise of giving more than 75 percent of his wealth to the society after the sudden death of his son Agnivesh in America. This industrialist mentioned his son’s confidence in making a self-reliant India and in the words of Agnivesh said that there is no shortage of anything in the country and India should never lag behind.

Aggarwal described this day as the darkest day of his life and said that his son was recovering after a skiing accident, but suddenly he lost his life due to health related problems.
Aggarwal told that Agnivesh was undergoing treatment at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York and it was believed that his life is now out of danger. He wrote that we thought that the worst was over. But what was supposed to happen happened and our son died suddenly due to a heart attack. No words can describe the pain of a parent who has to say goodbye to their child forever. The son should not go before the father. This loss has broken us in such a way that we are still trying to accept it. Anil Aggarwal has once again reiterated his promise to donate 75 percent of his wealth for the welfare of the society.
