Angry Bachchan! Samajwadi MP Jaya Bachchan Pushes, Scolds A Man Trying To Take Selfie | Watch Viral Video

Samajwadi Party MP and veteran actor Jaya Bachchan once again lost her cool and landed in another unexpected controversy.

As MPs assembled at Delhi’s Constitution Club before marching to the Election Commission against alleged voter roll tampering in Bihar, a man approached Bachchan with his phone raised, apparently trying to click a selfie.

What happened next is now all over social media. In a 32-second clip, Bachchan turns sharply, frowns, and says, “Kya kar rahe ho aap?” (“What are you doing?”) before pushing the man away. RJD MP Misa Bharti appears just behind her, seemingly unfazed.

The internet, however, was anything but unfazed. The video drew a flood of comments – some mocking her “celebrity arrogance,” others questioning why she reacted so strongly. “Her arrogance will break her someday,” one user wrote. Another quipped, “Why would anyone want a selfie with her anyway?”

This isn’t Bachchan’s first public flashpoint. During a fiery Parliament debate on Operation Sindoor, she clashed with treasury benches and curtly told Shiv Sena (UBT) MP Priyanka Chaturvedi, “Don’t control me.” Last year, she bristled when Rajya Sabha Chairperson Jagdeep Dhankhar called her “Jaya Amitabh Bachchan,” insisting she didn’t like his “tone.”

Meanwhile, the protest itself took a tense turn. Police detained several MPs, including Rahul Gandhi, citing lack of permission. Gandhi later accused the government of “threatening democracy” by stopping 300 MPs from submitting a document to the Election Commission.

For now, Bachchan and the Samajwadi Party remain silent. But the viral clip has ensured that, once again, her on-camera temperament is a national talking point.
