The email came at 6 in the morning – why did the employees get the biggest shock?
Many employees said that they suddenly received an email between 5 and 6 am in the morning, in which it was written that their jobs had been terminated immediately. No advance notice, no call from HR – just one mail and it’s over. Many people say that as soon as the email arrived, their system access was shut down, leaving them with no time to even retrieve their files.
6 out of 20 members have been asked to leave. In many teams, almost 50% of team members are gone. Total layoffs are almost 20%.
