Amrit Bharat Express Sitamarhi: Good news for passengers going from Sitamarhi to Delhi! People of North Bihar, Eastern and Western Uttar Pradesh are now going to get affordable and comfortable train service. Union Home Minister Amit Shah will flag off the Amrit Bharat Express today. This train will pass through big cities like Gorakhpur, Lucknow, Kanpur and will complete the 1100 km journey to passengers in just 20 hours 45 minutes.
What is the route and timing of Amrit Bharat Express?
Amrit Bharat Express will leave from Old Delhi every Saturday afternoon at 2:00 pm and reach Sitamarhi at 10:45 am on Sunday. In return, it will leave Sitamarhi every Sunday at 10:15 pm and will reach Delhi at 10:40 pm on Monday night. This route will have the main stops – Raxaul, Narkatiaganj, Gorakhpur, Lucknow, Kanpur. Inaugurated special train stops and timings are as follows: Sitamarhi (14:30), Bairgania (15:15), Raxaul (16:10), Narkatiaganj (17:15), Bagaha (18:20), Sisiva Bazar (19:55), Kaptanganj (20:30), Kaptanganj, Gorakhpur (21:30), Basti (22:45), Gonda (00:35), Lucknow (03:40), Kanpur Central (06:00), Tundla (09:10), Ghaziabad (12:15) and Delhi (14:00).

What facilities will the passengers get?
This train will have a total of 20 coaches-11 general category and 8 sleeper class coaches. The fare has been kept economical so that from migrant laborers to middle-class travelers can travel comfortable. Despite the long journey, the design and coach of the train will be convenient, which will reduce the fatigue to the passengers.

According to the Railways, 13 Vande Bharat Trains and 6 Amrit Bharat trains are currently operating in Bihar. This will be the second Amrit Bharat Express between Sitamarhi to Delhi. The first train is running between Darbhanga to Anand Vihar Terminal in Delhi, which passes through this route.
