Amrapali Gupta Says Both Love And Scout ‘Made Mistakes’ In BB 20 Blanket Controversy; Defends Kaashvi’s Intervention – EXCL

The ongoing Love and Scout controversy in Bigg Boss 20 has sparked conversations about personal boundaries, friendships and accountability inside the house. The incident, which involved a blanket and massage, also saw Kaashvi step in and confront the two contestants, bringing their actions under scrutiny. Now, actress Amrapali Gupta has shared her perspective on the entire episode in an exclusive interaction with Telly Talk India. Addressing the controversy, she maintained that neither Love nor Scout should be held solely responsible, as both made mistakes. She also discussed Kaashvi’s intervention, Love’s emotional reaction and the importance of maintaining physical boundaries.

Amrapali Gupta On Love And Scout’s Blanket Row

Reacting to the controversy involving Love and Scout, Amrapali Gupta made it clear that she does not believe one contestant should be blamed entirely for what transpired. According to the actress, both made mistakes, and the discussion should not be limited to calling out just one person.”Both are at fault. It is definitely wrong to only blame one person. Don’t keep saying that only Love was called out, both made mistakes and both did wrong,” she said.

Speaking about the blanket and massage controversy, Amrapali questioned why such an interaction was necessary in the first place. She explained that while certain gestures might appear harmless in other circumstances, the visuals shown in the episode made the situation uncomfortable for viewers. “Why do you even need to massage like that? You can do it like Scout does for Mahi, but what they specially showed, when they were lying under the blanket, she was probably wearing shorts, and he was massaging her that just didn’t look good visually. That’s the only reason there was so much objection,” she explained.

Amrapali also shared her thoughts on ScoutOP’s girlfriendĀ  stepping in and confronting Love and Scout. Drawing from her own experience of being in a relationship and now being married to Yash, she explained how emotions can sometimes influence a person’s perspective when their partner is involved.

“When Kaashvi came and spoke… as a girlfriend because I’ve been Yash’s girlfriend and now his wife at that moment, we become completely blind. We don’t understand anyone else’s point of view. But if you watch the episode, it’s not like it’s not like Kaashvi only targeted Love, she spoke to Scout as well,” she said.

Addressing Scout‘s decision to stop communicating and Love’s repeated crying, Amrapali felt that both reactions contributed to the situation becoming more complicated. She believed Scout’s decision was rather extreme, while Love’s emotional response could make it difficult for anyone to maintain their stance.

“Scout took a very extreme step by saying, ‘We won’t speak at all.’ And the way Love has been driving everyone crazy by crying continuous tears any guy would get stressed. Any emotionally sensitive person would melt and say, ‘Okay fine, I’ll sort other things out later, let me just speak to you for now,'” she stated.

Amrapali Gupta Stresses The Importance Of Physical Boundaries

Amrapali further emphasised that personal boundaries should be respected irrespective of gender. She pointed out that women should also be mindful of how they interact physically with others and understand when certain gestures might make someone uncomfortable. “Girls should draw a small line for themselves. You need to know your limits. If a guy did that right now, you would say he is touching you unintentionally or inappropriately. Just because you are a girl and you touch everyone doesn’t mean boundaries don’t apply to you. If boundaries exist for guys, they should exist for girls too,” she concluded.
