Megastar Amitabh Bachchan has shared a picture of himself running on the sets of Kaun Banega Crorepati 18, days after revealing that he had injured his knee while shooting for the quiz show.
The black-and-white photograph, shared on his blog, shows the veteran actor in his KBC attire running towards the camera, with the iconic show set visible in the background.
Alongside the picture, Bachchan wrote, “…much to do yet not done..” He then added a Hindi message, “Bas daudte rehna chahiye,” or “One should just keep running.”
The actor concluded the post with, “And love and gratitude.”
The picture comes shortly after Bachchan revealed during an episode of KBC 18 that he had slipped and fallen while shooting, injuring his left knee.
The 83-year-old actor, who usually delivers his opening monologue while standing at the centre of the stage, appeared seated during the episode and mentioned that the injury had made it difficult for him to stand.
Despite the discomfort, Bachchan continued hosting the show and said he would stand while interacting with contestants.
His latest picture from the KBC set has drawn attention in the context of his recent revelation about the injury, with the actor continuing with his professional commitments.
Bachchan was also seen attending an event in Mumbai on October 2, where he was photographed walking without assistance.
The actor has previously seen his social media posts prompt speculation about his health. In July, a blog post containing references to being in hospital, undergoing surgery and spending time in an ICU was widely interpreted as a personal health update.
Bachchan later clarified that he had not undergone surgery and was doing fine. He said the references were part of an analogy about the difficult period following a champion’s defeat, in connection with footballer Lionel Messi and Argentina’s loss.
