Amitabh Bachchan is a proud father as his son, Abhishek Bachchan, is receiving accolades for his performance in the latest release, Kaalidhar Laapata . The devoted father has been supporting the actor on social media.

Amid the positive feedback for Abhishek’s work in the ZEE5 film, the veteran superstar shared his emotions while reading reviews. On X, Mr. Bachchan responded to the praises directed at Abhishek.

On X, Mr. Bachchan tweeted, “with the mountains of praise coming for Abhishek and the film Kaalidhar Laapata .. mountains of pride fill my heart and mind for my SON ..”

In response to his tweet, one X user commented, “Truly well deserved! An in-house Times Now critic reviewed Abhishek’s performance in Kaalidhar Laapata and wrote, “Abhishek Bachchan once again proves his emotional depth in this film, delivering a performance that brings life and connection to the screen.”
Giving it 4 stars, the critic noted, “The film presents a beautiful storyline brought to life by commendable performances, with the actors portraying every emotion with depth and sincerity. As the story unfolds, viewers are likely to connect with it on a personal level, especially as it builds to an emotionally moving conclusion.”
Kaalidhar Laapata also features Daivik Baghela and Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub. Madhumita Sundararaman is the director. It is streaming on ZEE5 from July 4.
