A disputed incident occurred during the voter Adhikar Yatra of Congress leader Rahul Gandhi in Darbhanga, Bihar. During this time derogatory words were spoken against Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his heavenly mother. Union Home Minister Amit Shah strongly condemned this. Addressing a rally in Guwahati, Amit Shah said that this action of the Congress is shameful and this will strengthen the BJP’s victory. He said that this is an injury to the feelings of the countrymen and demanded apology from Rahul Gandhi for this.
A person who made indecent remarks on PM Modi arrested
Shah said that this incident is not new. Ever since Narendra Modi became Prime Minister, many Congress leaders have abused him. Giving examples, Shah said that some leaders even called Modi ji ‘death merchants’, ‘poisonous snake’, ‘lowly man’, ‘Ravana’, ‘Bhasmasura’ and ‘virus’. After this incident in Darbhanga, the BJP had demanded to register an FIR at the Gandhi Maidan police station in Patna. BJP spokesperson Danish Iqbal and executive member Krishna Singh complained against Rahul Gandhi. A day later in the case, Darbhanga police arrested accused Rizvi alias Raja late on Thursday night. He is a resident of Bhapura village in Sinhwada police station area and is a pickup driver.

Amit Shah said in his speech, “I want to tell the Congress that the more abuses you will give to Modi ji, the more the lotus flower will bloom the heights. The Congress tried the same in every election. He abused every time but won the BJP.
