Ahmedabad. A private ambulance suddenly caught fire early Tuesday near Modasa town in Gujarat’s Aravalli district, killing four people, including a newborn baby, a doctor and a nurse. Police Inspector DB Vala said that the child’s father Jignesh Mochi (38), Ahmedabad resident Dr. Shantilal Rentia (30), and Aravalli resident nurse Bhuriben Manat (23) were sitting in the rear part of the ambulance, where the fire spread rapidly. However, the driver and two relatives of the child who were sitting in the front seat had a narrow escape.
