Ambika advises Trisha to be cautious about public appearances with Vijay

Veteran actress Ambika has offered some advice to Trisha Krishnan following the renewed attention surrounding her public appearances with Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and actor Vijay.

Vijay and Trisha have been the subject of relationship speculation for some time, and their recent appearance together at Ajith Kumar’s Michelin Le Mans Cup race at Silverstone, UK, once again sparked discussions online. Videos of the two watching the race from the same area went viral.

Speaking to RedPix, Ambika said that friendship between two people should not automatically be given a different meaning, but added that one should be cautious when a close friend holds a prominent public position.

Ambika said that if she were in Trisha’s position and felt that appearing with a friend could lead to unnecessary criticism or affect the friend’s public image, she would choose to step back from such situations.

She also stressed that this does not mean ending a friendship, but rather being mindful of how public appearances could be perceived.

Ambika has been a prominent actress in Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam cinema since the 1970s. She has appeared in Telugu films including “Prema Mandiram” with Akkineni Nageswara Rao, “Rajkumar” with Sobhan Babu and Chiranjeevi’s “Yamudiki Mogudu.”
