Balaghat fake caste scam: A sensational revelation has been revealed from Balaghat district of Madhya Pradesh, which has also questioned caste -based reservation amidst vote theft controversy. A game of more than 80 fake caste certificates has come out in Bori village. With the help of these fake certificates, not only is infiltration in government committees, but the rights of government jobs and reservation are also going into wrong hands. The question arises that how is this scam going on for so long and why are the officials silent?
Did Balaghat become a stronghold of fake caste certificate?
Certificates of three different castes were issued to four members of the same family in village sack. Some got a certificate of Manjhi, some and some got a certificate of Singaraha caste, while the whole family belongs to Singerod caste. Not only this, the complainants say that with the help of these fake certificates, many people also got government jobs.
Infiltration into committees with 80+ fake caste certificates
Beniram Meshram, secretary of the Dhimar Samaj Sangathan, alleged that not only Bori village, but also in the surrounding areas, more than 80 fake certificates have been made. These fake certificate holders have made it to Matsya Cooperative Society Maryadit Pandharwani, Rajiv Gandhi Cooperative Society Bori and Milan Fisherman Cooperative Society Maryadit Tekari. Due to this, members of the original fishermen society are coming out of the committees.
Is this scam flourished by administrative negligence?
Whisel Blower Shekhar Jaiswal says that it is not easy to make caste certificate. For this, signature of sarpanch, village Patel and officials is necessary. The case was complained a year ago and the inquiry committee also confirmed the fraud. Despite this, no concrete action has been taken so far.
