– Light a lamp of pure ghee, apply tilak with kumkum on the picture of God and garland it with flowers. Keep offering Roli, rice, gulal, abeer etc. things one by one.
– During the puja, keep chanting the mantra Om Namo Bhagwate Vasudevaya in your mind. Offer fruits and sweets. Be sure to keep basil leaves in the offering. Finally perform Aarti.
– After worshiping Lord Vishnu, worship the Amla tree and light a lamp. – Follow the rules of fasting throughout the day. Stay awake the whole night and sing bhajans and kirtans.
Next morning, call the Brahmins home and have food and send them off by giving them donations. Feed fodder to the cow. After this have your meal yourself.
– In this way, the person who fasts and worships Amalaki Ekadashi as per the rituals, all his wishes are fulfilled and he remains safe from troubles.
