Meanwhile, a great hunter arrived in the city. He stopped in Shikari Nagar and started listening to the stories of Lord Vishnu.

Due to his sins, the hunter went to hell, but he once unknowingly heard the story of Amalaki Ekadashi fast and also did Jagran. Because of this he got the auspicious results of that fast.

He was again born in the house of King Viduratha and his name was Vasurath. Vasurath grew up and one day got lost in the forest. Suddenly he was attacked by bandits, but the attack had no effect on him. Here the king continued sleeping peacefully. When the king woke up, he saw many people lying on the ground around him.
