She revealed that her primary concern at the time was whether the nudity would be handled aesthetically and serve the narrative rather than merely being a sensational element.
Paul elaborated on the meticulous process, recounting how she spent nearly two months understanding the team’s approach and building trust with director Rathna Kumar and cinematographer Vijay Kartik Kannan. “I needed to trust the director and the cinematographer. My whole thinking was, are these people up for making an aesthetic film where it is emotionally driven or is it about nudity?” Paul questioned.
