Amala Akkineni Credits Daughters-In-Law Sobitha Dhulipala And Zainab Ravdjee For Giving Her A ‘Girls Circle’

In a chat on Aval Vikatan’s Youtube channel Amala was asked about her new role as a mother-in-law, Amala Akkineni spoke highly about it, and credited Sobitha Dhulipala And Zainab Ravdjee for giving her a ‘girls circle’. She said “I have wonderful daughters-in-law…they are delightful…they help me relive and have the ‘girls circle’…they are very busy, but its good, because young people have an exciting life. It’s so good to be busy. But when I get some moments with them, we enjoy. I am not a needy mother-in-law, neither am I am a needy wife.”

Talking about her sons Naga Chaitanya and Akhil Akkineni she said “They have grown up to be amazing. They have great respect for Nag sir…he is very affectionate towards them…as for me I am no nonsense parent…”

For the unversed, Nagarjuna was first married to Lakshmi Daggubati from 1984-1990. Their son is actor Naga Chaitanya. However, after he split with Lakshmi, he married actress Amala in the year 1992. Their son is actor Akhil.

Naga Chaitanya got married to actress Sobhita Dhulipala in 2024. Akhil Akkineni got married to entrepreneur Zainab Ravdjee this year.

On the work front, Amala Akkineni made her film comeback in Oke Oka Jeevitham written and directed by debutant Shree Karthick and produced by Dream Warrior Pictures. The film is simultaneously shot in Telugu and Tamil languages. The film featured Sharwanand, Amala Akkineni, Ritu Varma and Vennela Kishore in key roles.
