How Vivek Oberoi’s life was saved
Talking about this, Vivek Oberoi said, ‘I was shooting a road film in Rajasthan. We were going from Bikaner to Jaisalmer. Beautiful roads, beautiful drive, but it was night time. I told the driver to drive slowly at least 15 to 20 times, ‘It’s night, visibility is low, drive slowly’. I was in the front seat and after that incident, I never sat in the front seat. I tilted my seat backwards and suddenly there was a loud accident. Suddenly a camel cart arrived on the road, which was loaded with sticks. The rods had broken the windshield, and if my seat had been upright, the rods would have penetrated my body. I couldn’t get out of the car because the rods were on me, but I wasn’t hurt. At that time I felt as if I had almost died. After that, I decided not to travel at night.
