In a recent interview, Sirish opened up film’s failure and how he has been working on fresh projects for his fans.
Allu Sirish On Buddy’s Box Office Failure
In an exclusive chat with Zoom, Allu Sirish said, “My last film Buddy didn’t do well and then it’s almost like 10 years in the industry. I wanted to like step back and assess like, what is it that I want to do going forward? How would I want the next five years to be? A lot of the first initial years, I was from a film family, it was a lot about self-discovery and I was trying not to buck to the pressure. But I was kind of trying to fit into the mould of what people want me to do and I was not hitting it. So I took a break to figure out what I want to do next.”
Further, he added, “Next upcoming… just today I have taken the advance from a producer. It’s like a very personal love story, I have worked with the director for like a year and a half and it’s very close to both of us. It’s nothing like anything what people have seen before, it’s going to move people. It’s a great story, it’s a great, bold, progressive theme. I won’t move away too much from the film industry, anything I do, I think I’ll be around this only.”
On Personal, Professional Front
For the unversed, Allu Sirish and Allu Arjun, are both sons of producer Allu Aravind and grandsons of actor Allu Ramalingaiah. The two belong to one of the most esteemed families of the Telugu film industry but have carved out unique identities within the audience.

The rest of the plot is about how the teddy bear and Aditya head to Hong Kong to save the body of Pallavi.
