Allu Arjun To Appear Before Nampally Court In Sandhya Theatre Stampede Case On June 22 – Report

Allu Arjun is set to appear before the Nampally Court in Hyderabad in connection with the Sandhya Theatre stampede case. The Nampally Court issued summons to the actor, directing him to be physically present for a hearing as part of the ongoing legal proceedings. As per reports, the actor has confirmed that he will comply with the court order and abide by the law at every stage of the case.

According to India Today, Allu Arjun will physically appear before the Nampally Court on June 22. The actor is committed to following the legal process fully and obediently.

Chikkadpally Police have named Allu Arjun as Accused No 11 in the case, while the management of Sandhya Theatre has been listed as Accused Nos. 1 to 10. The court has issued summons to 19 of the 23 chargesheeted individuals in total.

All About Sandhya Theatre Stampede Case

The stampede broke out on the night of December 4, 2024, when a massive crowd gathered outside Sandhya Theatre during the premiere show of Pushpa 2: The Rule to catch a glimpse of Allu Arjun.

A 35-year-old woman named Revathi died in the incident, while her nine-year-old son Sritej suffered critical injuries after being deprived of oxygen, leading to severe complications. Revathi and her family had reportedly attended the screening as Sritej was an ardent fan of the actor.

 was placed on ventilator support in a Paediatric Intensive Care Unit and remained there for over four months. He was discharged on April 29, 2025, and later shifted to a neuro-rehabilitation facility in Hyderabad for long-term treatment.

Following the incident, Allu Arjun was arrested on December 13, 2024. The Telangana High Court granted him four weeks of interim bail on the same day. The Nampally Court later granted him regular bail, directing him to deposit two sureties of Rs 50,000 each and to cooperate with the investigation.

Allu Arjun’s Upcoming Movie

Despite the ongoing legal proceedings, Allu Arjun continues to work on his next big project. The actor will be seen in Atlee’s directorial titled Raaka, which marks his first on-screen collaboration with Deepika Padukone.

The film is a Telugu sci-fi thriller and is expected to release in 2027. It is one of the most anticipated pan-India films currently in production, given the star power involved on both sides.

Allu Arjun was last seen in Pushpa 2: The Rule, which went on to become one of the biggest blockbusters in Indian cinema history.
