When Dr. Mahima took the complete medical history of the woman, one special thing came to light that she had very painful periods. Sometimes the pain was so severe that he had to go to the hospital. This pain continued not only during periods but also before and after them.
Real reason found in investigation
When the doctor conducted a more in-depth examination, it was found that there were two endometriotic cysts in the woman’s ovaries. This is a condition called endometriosis in which tissue similar to the inner lining of the uterus starts growing in other parts of the body, especially in the ovaries and tubes. It not only causes terrible period pain, but also hinders pregnancy.
Lesson: Don’t take painful periods lightly
If you or any woman has very painful periods every month, do not ignore it. This may not be just a normal menstrual problem, but a serious gynecological condition, which can lead to infertility in the future.
