Legendary filmmaker Singeetham Sreenivasa Rao’s ambitious project Sing Geetham is set for release on June 11th.
Today, the team introduced the film’s lead actors at an event held in Vizag. Interestingly, all three lead characters are played by newcomers.
Vizag native Ayaan is making his debut as a hero with this film, portraying the character Prathap. In the introduction video, Singeetham mentioned that although Prathap was originally written as a gambler, he envisioned him as an incredibly lively and spirited personality.
The introduction video features a blend of behind-the-scenes moments, rehearsals, and lighthearted clips of Ayaan on set.
The makers also introduced Ahilya as Gauri, a sharp and empathetic character, while Shalini steps into the role of the antagonist, Renu.
Music director Devi Sri Prasad, who joined the team through a video message, shared that Singeetham Sreenivasa Rao himself is the biggest reason to watch the film.
“It’s a blessing to work on a film like Sing Geetham. I put my heart and soul into composing for this movie. The three actors have performed beautifully, and they’ve also sung in the film themselves,” he said.
