Alia Bhatt Wishes ‘Mama Birdie’ Soni Razdan On Birthday, Says ‘Our Whole Universe’

Alia Bhatt recently shared an adorable picture with her mother Soni Razdan on her birthday which made her fans go “aww”. Sharing a few warm and candid pictures together on Instagram, Alia lovingly called her mom the “whole of our universe” in her special birthday note.

On Saturday, Alia took to Instagram to share a heartfelt message for her mother, affectionately referring to her as “Mama birdie.”

The post included two candid moments of the mother-daughter duo, with the caption that read, “happy bday mama birdie.. (dove emoji).” She added, “You are our whole universe and you light it up every… single… day.”

 

 

 

 

In the first image, Soni is seen standing behind Alia, gently embracing her and resting her chin above Alia’s head. Both smile brightly, Soni looking directly at the camera with joy, while Alia, dressed in a vibrant mustard yellow and white embroidered outfit, looks down with a soft smile. Alia is currently gearing up for the release of her much-anticipated film Alpha, directed by Shiv Rawail. The movie also stars Sharvari Wagh and Bobby Deol and marks the seventh instalment in YRF’s Spy Universe. Scheduled to release in cinemas on December 25, 2025, the film promises to present Alia in a fierce and dynamic new avatar.

She will also be seen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s upcoming epic Love & War, alongside Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal in the lead roles.

Meanwhile, Soni Razdan was last seen in Songs of Paradise, which premiered on Prime Video in August. The film also stars Saba Azad, Zain Khan Durrani, Sheeba Chaddha, Taaruk Raina, Shishir Sharma, and Lillete Dubey. Inspired by the life and journey of Padma Shri awardee Raj Begum, the film celebrates the legendary Kashmiri singer’s contribution to Indian music.
