Alia Bhatt gave a sweet shout-out to husband and co-star Ranbir Kapoor after the makers of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s much-awaited film ‘Love & War’ unveiled his first-look poster on Thursday.
Sharing the poster on her official Instagram handle, Alia wrote, “Hey Handsome.. Love & War in cinemas, January 21, 2027 (sic).”
Ranbir’s other co-star, Vicky Kaushal, also shared the first look and expressed his excitement about the film.
“Love. War. And everything in between. Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Love & War See you on 21.01.2027 (sic),” Vicky wrote.
The poster features Ranbir in a rugged avatar, sporting a blood-stained sleeve and a bullet mark on his shirt. He is seen sitting inside a car with a serious expression.
Sharing the first look on social media, the makers wrote, “Woh rutba, woh raub, woh junoon! Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Love & War on 21st January 2027 See you at the movies!”
‘Love & War’ was originally announced for a Christmas 2025 release before being pushed to March 20, 2026. The makers have now confirmed January 21, 2027, as the release date for the film.
The project marks Ranbir and Bhansali’s reunion after ‘Saawariya’, which marked Ranbir’s Bollywood debut in 2007.
Alia previously collaborated with Bhansali in the 2022 biographical drama ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’, while ‘Love & War’ marks Vicky Kaushal’s primary professional association with the filmmaker.
‘Love & War’ is expected to release worldwide in theatres on January 21, 2027, in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.
