Alia Bhatt channels her inner Safeena, complaints about Ranbir in new ad with SRK

A recent advertisement featuring Bollywood’s star couple, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, and superstar Shah Rukh Khan, has taken the internet by storm.

The viral ad features from Gully Boy, humorously complaining to Shah Rukh Khan’s character, Dr Jehangir, about her on-screen partner, Ranbir Kapoor, who portrays Bunny.

The playful banter between Alia and Shah Rukh has captivated audiences, with Safeena even threatening to “dhoptuingi” (beat up) Ranbir’s character. The ad cleverly blends humour and charm, highlighting the undeniable chemistry between the trio.

In the advertisement, hilariously complains to SRK’s Dr Jehangir (from Dear Zindagi) about her on-screen (and off-screen) husband, Ranbir’s Bunny (from Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani). The ad begins with SRK enquiring about the couple’s married life.

Alia replies, “I asked him to get ice, but he went to Ladakh instead. When I asked him why he was so busy, he said, ‘The mountains were calling.’ Well, if he’s going to flirt with the mountains, I’ll have to teach him a lesson!” she vents, channelling her fiery Gully Boy persona.

Ranbir’s Bunny cheekily defends himself, quoting his iconic line, “Doctor Jehangir, I want to fly, I want to run, I just don’t want to stay in this house.” When SRK asks why, Ranbir answers—”I climbed onto the ledge to watch the sunset, and it broke. I don’t feel safe any more.”
