Akansha Ranjan Kapoor is reportedly set to marry her partner, Sharan Sharma, on July 11. According to a publication, they have planned an intimate, low-key wedding with their close friends and family in attendance.
Another report suggests that Akansha and Sharan might skip traditional pheras and opt for a registered marriage on their big day. Ahead of that, their pre-wedding celebrations have commenced. A while ago, Alia Bhatt was seen arriving at the venue to join her childhood best friend’s pre-wedding festivities. Other Bollywood celebrities marked their presence as well.

Meanwhile, sources informed News18 that Akansha and filmmaker Sharan’s legal formalities for wedding will take place at the Ranjan residence in Mumbai. The duo is expected to sign the documents in the presence of their near and dear ones. “The emphasis is on celebrating the union with loved ones rather than following conventional wedding customs, making it a deeply personal and low-key occasion,” the source added.
The news report further mentions that Akansha and Sharan will host lunch for the guests after completing the paperwork. Later, on July 12, the duo is likely to host a reception party at JW Mariott in Mumbai. Talking about their rumoured love story, Akansha started dating Sharan in 2022. However, they never publicly confirmed or denied their relationship speculations.

On the work front, Alia was recetly seen in . Directed by Shiv Rawail, the first female-led spy thriller was theatrically released on July 3. The actress worked with Sharvari, Bobby Deol and Anil Kapoor. Hrithik Roshan had a special appearance in the movie. Next, the actress has Love & War coming up with Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal on January 21, 2027.
As for Akansha, the actress’ film, Ikka, was released on July 10. Co-starring Sunny Deol and Akshaye Khanna, the courtroom drama is streaming on Netflix. This year, the actress also featured in the second season of Gram Chikitsalay. Sharan, on the other hand, last directed Mr & Mrs Mahi starring Rajkummar Rao and Janhvi Kapoor.
