The weather has become pleasant due to rain in the capital Delhi and UP, but people are facing a lot of trouble due to rain in many states. The India Meteorological Department has predicted heavy rains in Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Haryana, Punjab, Delhi-NCR, Rajasthan, UP and Bihar from 24 to 26 August. In many other states, a warning has been issued regarding heavy rains.
Jhajjham in Delhi-NCR, red alert next three hours
On Saturday evening, many areas of Delhi received heavy rains with thunderstorms. IMD has issued a red alert of extremely heavy rain for the next three hours. On Sunday, there is a possibility of moderate to heavy rains with strong winds at several places including Civil Lines, Red Fort, Lajpat Nagar, Narela, Bawana, Alipur and ITO.

Threat of landslide in Uttarakhand-Himachal
The IMD has warned that from Sunday to the last days of the week, there will be a threat to cloudburst, thunderstorms and landslides in Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir. Please tell that the situation in Uttarakhand is already serious. After Uttarkashi and Sianachatti, many buildings and shops were damaged due to cloudburst in Tharali and Narayanbagad blocks in Chamoli districts at midnight. People suffered heavy losses due to the strong current of water and debris. Heavy rains are also forecast in many districts of Rajasthan, Gujarat and Haryana. The continuous rains in the hilly areas have increased the risk of landslide and rivers and drains. The Meteorological Department has advised people to be vigilant and avoid unnecessary travel.
