He told Altman that the death of former OpenAI employee Suchir Balaji (who was declared suicide by the authorities) was “definitely murder”. Carlson said that the mother of the deceased claimed that Balaji was murdered on the orders of Altman.
In response, Altman said that he had not talked to the authorities about his investigation, but he offered to contact the mother. He refused to talk to them.
