Akshay Kumar Remembers Late Actor Asrani as Havann Releases Soon

recently honored the late actor Asrani, who passed away in October last year, by sharing a clip from their upcoming crime thriller, “Havann.” The film features Asrani in a memorable role as an elderly security guard. Kumar expressed his gratitude on Instagram, stating, “I feel fortunate to have worked with this great artist and to witness his last shot in ‘Havann.’ Miss you, Asrani ji; there’s no one like you.”

“Havann,” a Hindi remake of the 2016 Malayalam hit “Oppam,” has generated significant excitement among fans, particularly because it reunites Kumar and Saif Ali Khan on screen after nearly 18 years. Their last collaboration was in the film “Tashan.”

Directed by Priyadarshan, “Havann” is produced by KVN Productions and The Spian Films, with Venkat K. Narayan and Shailja Desai serving as producers. In addition to Kumar and Khan, the film features Shreya Pilgaonkar and Saiyami Kher in pivotal roles.

Set to hit theaters on September 11, “Havann” tells the gripping story of a dangerous psychopath, played by Kumar, and a blind father, portrayed by Khan. The narrative delves into themes of violence and revenge, showcasing how these elements transform Kumar’s character into a terrifying ‘beast.’
