Akshay Kumar Gets Trolled For Using Teleprompter Again In Kannappa, Fans Say ‘Doesn’t Care To Remember His Lines’

Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar has once again landed in controversy after a video clip from his upcoming film Kannappa went viral online.

In the clip, Akshay is seen portraying the Hindu deity Lord Shiva, delivering a powerful monologue.

Akshay faces backlash over teleprompter allegations

However, eagle-eyed netizens were quick to notice that Akshay’s eyes appeared to move from left to right in an unnatural manner, prompting many to accuse him of reading his lines from a teleprompter placed in front of him.

This incident has drawn parallels to a similar controversy earlier this year during the promotions of Sarfira, where Akshay was also accused of using a teleprompter. At that time, fans claimed to have seen him subtly glancing off-screen to read his lines. While the incident sparked heated debate, Akshay neither confirmed nor denied the allegations. Now, with the emergence of the Kannappa clip, the discussion has reignited.

Fan reactions pour in

Fans didn’t hold back from sharing their opinions. One commented, “Teleprompter Kumar, Akshay Kumar Using Teleprompter to Read the dialogue. 40 din mein movie aise hi complete hoti hai.” Another wrote, “Akshay Kumar, once one of the most passionate and talented actor, now reads all his dialogues from a teleprompter, showing no interest in acting. There was a time when he ruled comedy and action films & now he doesn’t even care to remember his lines. How the mighty have fallen.”
