The Welcome franchise was started in 2007. In this film of director Anees Bazmee, Firoz Khan, Anil Kapoor, Nana Patekar, Akshay Kumar, Katrina Kaif, Paresh Rawal and Mallika Sherawat were in lead roles. Producer Firoz Nadiadwala’s film had a budget of Rs 32 crore and earned Rs 117.91 crore. Then in 2015 its sequel Welcome Back came. In this, John Abraham was cast in place of Akshay.
