What kind of direction is Boyapati Srinu?
The story of ‘Akhand 2’ has been written by Boyapati Srinu, which seems trite. He has started it from where the first part ended. The smooth start of the film shows his ability as a director. With the entry of Aghora, the audience’s interest in the film increases. But as soon as new characters are entered, violent scenes appear again and again, which slow down the pace of the story. However, the film once again picks up pace from the interval and keeps the audience engaged the entire time. Overall, Srinu has succeeded to a great extent in taking the story of Aghora to the next level.
How did the star cast of ‘Akhand 2’ perform?
Nandamuri Balakrishna has played a double role and has looked tremendous in both the roles. Be it Aghora or MLA Balamurali Krishna. However, the MLA part is small. But it leaves an impact. Along with acting, his loud dialogue delivery attracts you. Samyuktha Menon has done a wonderful job. Despite having a small role, she attracts the attention of the audience. Harshali Malhotra has enthralled herself in the role of Janani, daughter of Aghora. His emotional scenes impress to a great extent. Adi Minisetti looks dangerous in the role of villain. Tarun Khanna has breathed life into the role of Lord Shiva. Apart from him, all the actors including Saswat Chatterjee, Kabir Duhan Singh, Sharat Lohitaswa, Anish Kuruvilla have done their respective parts well.
