Reliance Jio Infocomm Chairman Akash Ambani on Wednesday appreciated Prime Minister Narendra Modi and said that India is lucky to have found a leader who is carrying the country forward in the direction of digital revolution. Speaking in the ninth edition of India Mobile Congress (IMC) 2025 held at Delhi’s Yashobhoomi Convention Center, Akash Ambani said that India has got the support of a visionary leader like PM Modi, whose thinking has given a new direction to both the country’s technology and economy in the last 25 years.
He said that the rapidly moving India’s digital journey today has become an example for the world. This time IMC showed India’s growing technology ecosystem. Which includes semiconductor, artificial intelligence, fraud prevention system and 6G technology of the coming time.
Akash Ambani said,
Today we saw the entire scope of technology, from creating chip to fraud management system and wireless connectivity of the next generation. This is a moment to proud of India’s technology capacity. Our goal is to maintain India at the forefront of the world’s digital revolution. He also said that India Mobile Congress is an example of how India is now moving fast towards becoming a global innovation hub. Where startups, educational institutions and industry leaders together are pursuing new technology. What we saw in IMC today shows how far India has come and in which direction is moving in future.

Director General S.P. of Cellular Operators Association of India (COAI) Kochhar said that the inauguration of IMC is a new chapter in India’s advanced connectivity and digital inclusion. He said that the Prime Minister’s address made it clear that the government is working closely with the industry to strengthen the communication infrastructure of the country and to prevent telecom fraud. Kochhar said that India’s technological progress is now in safe hands, better connectivity is now reaching far-flung areas of the country, and continuous attention is being paid to security, innovation and cooperation. India will now maintain its speed as a digital-first economy.
