Ajith Kumar is reportedly set to play a character with negative shades in his upcoming film Daredevil, directed by Adhik Ravichandran. The latest buzz surrounding the film suggests that the actor will be seen in a different characterisation, though the makers are yet to officially reveal details about his role. The film marks Ajith’s second collaboration with Adhik Ravichandran after Good Bad Ugly.
Daredevil was officially announced in August 2026, with Ajith’s wife, Shalini Ajithkumar, producing the film under the Bravehearts Production banner. Music composer Anirudh Ravichander has been confirmed for the project, reuniting with Ajith after Vidaamuyarchi. The film’s shoot is scheduled to commence on November 2nd, 2026. According to reports, the team is planning to shoot in Hyderabad and select foreign locations. A massive Casino set is constructed in Hyderabad’s Ramoji Film City and a major portion of the shoot will be wrapped up in this set.
Ajith took a break from films to focus on his motorsport commitments over the past year. With Daredevil, he is set to return to the sets under Adhik Ravichandran’s direction.
