Sainik School Admission 2026: If your dream is to send your child to Sainik School, then this news is very important for you. National Testing Agency (NTA) has started the application process for AISSEE 2026. Through this examination, admission can be taken in classes 6 and 9 in Sainik schools across the country. The application is completely online and candidates can apply till 30 October 2025. The last date for submission of application fee is 31 October 2025.
Who can apply for AISSEE 2026?
- For Class 6: Date of birth should be between 1st April 2014 to 31st March 2016.
- For Class 9: Date of birth should be between 1st April 2011 to 31st March 2013.
- The candidate must have passed his/her previous class from a recognized school.
- The selection process also includes entrance exam and medical test.
- Only those students who satisfy the above mentioned criteria can apply.

How to Apply for Sainik School Admission 2026?
- First of all go to NTA website exams.nta.nic.in.
- Click on the link ‘AISSEE 2026 Registration’ on the homepage.
- New candidates click on ‘New Registration’ and fill your information like name, date of birth, mobile number, email etc.
- Upload scanned passport photo, signature, birth certificate and other required documents.
- After verifying the information, submit the form and take a printout and save it for future.
What are the Sainik School fees and scholarship opportunities?
- The annual fees ranges between approximately Rs 1.25 lakh to Rs 1.75 lakh.
- Fees include tuition, hostel, uniform, books and food.
- The government also provides scholarships for children from economically weaker sections, SC, ST and defense families.

Students studying here later join the National Defense Academy (NDA), Indian Military Academy (IMA) and other civil services.
