Afghan army retaliates
The Taliban-led Afghan army has also retaliated in response to Pakistan’s attacks. According to reports, the Afghan army has targeted many important military bases and strategic military posts of Pakistan. Afghanistan’s Ministry of National Defense has issued a statement on social media platform ‘X’ (formerly Twitter). The statement said that the Pakistani Army violated the Durand Line border during the night, after which the Afghan Army gave a befitting reply.
Attack on military bases in Kohat area
According to the ministry’s statement, the Afghan Air Force targeted important military centers and strategic bases of the Pakistani Army in Kohat area of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. In this attack, a military fort in Kohat was badly destroyed. It has also been claimed that a command center located within a radius of about two kilometers in the same area was also targeted. This center managed the conflict on the Durand Line. Apart from this, the office of the commander of the military fort was also attacked with precision.
