Air travel may become cheaper, ATF prices fall by 7 percent

ATF price has seen a decline of more than 7 percent.

While there has been a shock in the prices of gas cylinders in the new year, on the other hand the oil companies have tried to provide relief by reducing the prices of ATF. The biggest decline in air turbine fuel prices has been seen in several months. Fuel prices for domestic flights have been reduced by more than 7 percent. Whereas fuel prices for international flights have fallen by more than 8 percent.

Which will help the airlines companies to reduce their operational costs. Due to which common people will benefit in the form of cheaper fares. Fuel accounts for more than 40 percent of the operational cost of airlines. The prices of such fuel play an important role in determining the fare price. Let us also tell you what the prices of ATF have become for domestic and international flights in different metros of the country.

Big drop in fuel prices for domestic flights

  1. Fuel prices for domestic flights in the country’s capital Delhi have been reduced by Rs 7,353.75 i.e. 7.38 percent. After which the price of ATF here has become Rs 92,323.02 per kilolitre. Earlier, the price of ATF here was Rs 99,676.77.
  2. Fuel prices for domestic flights in Kolkata have been reduced by Rs 6,993 i.e. 6.83 percent. After which the price of ATF here has become Rs 95,378.02 per kilolitre. Earlier the price here was Rs 1,02,371.02 per kilolitre.
  3. Fuel prices for domestic flights in Mumbai have been reduced by Rs 6,928.85 or 7.43 percent. After which the price of ATF here has become Rs 86,352.19 per kilolitre. Earlier the price here was Rs 93,281.04 per kilolitre.
  4. Fuel prices for domestic flights in Chennai have been reduced by Rs 7,531.8 i.e. 7.29 percent. After which the price of ATF here has become Rs 95,770 per kilolitre. Earlier the price here was Rs 1,03,301.80 per kilolitre.

ATF price also reduced for international flights

  1. Fuel prices for international flights in the country’s capital Delhi have been reduced by $ 73.33 or 8.48 percent. After which the price of ATF here has become $ 791.48 per kiloliter. Earlier the price of ATF here was $864.81.
  2. Fuel prices for international flights in Delhi have been reduced by $73.34 i.e. 8.12 percent. After which the price of ATF here has become $ 829.76 per kiloliter. Earlier the price of ATF here was $903.10.
  3. Fuel prices for international flights in Delhi have been reduced by $73.08 i.e. 8.45 percent. After which the price of ATF here has become $ 791.27 per kiloliter. Earlier the price of ATF here was $864.35.
  4. Fuel prices for international flights in Delhi have been reduced by $73.06 i.e. 8.50 percent. After which the price of ATF here has increased to $ 786.83 per kiloliter. Earlier the price of ATF here was $859.89.
