An Air India flight flying from Delhi to Ahmedabad made an emergency landing at Delhi Airport after smoke was seen in the cargo area. During investigation, the smoke was found to be false and all the passengers were safely deboarded and sent to another plane.
Air India Flight Emergency Landing: Air India flight flying from Delhi to Ahmedabad had to make emergency landing at Delhi airport. According to reports, smoke was seen coming out of Air India flight number AI2939. After this the flight had to make an emergency landing at Delhi airport.
Action taken after smoke was seen in the cargo area
According to reports, smoke was seen rising in the cargo area of the Air India flight from Delhi to Ahmedabad. Due to this the plane was landed back at Delhi airport. However, after investigation the smoke signal was found to be false. Let us tell you that there were 170 passengers on board this plane. However, later all the passengers and crew members were evacuated safely and without taking any risk, the passengers were flown to Ahmedabad in another plane.

An Air India official said, we regret any inconvenience caused due to this emergency landing. For Air India, the safety of its passengers and crew is the top priority.
Flight from Guwahati to Hyderabad canceled
Earlier on Thursday, Air India Express had canceled its flight number (IX 2884) from Guwahati to Hyderabad due to unknown operational reasons. In fact, Indian cricketer Mohammad Siraj had reprimanded the airline in front of everyone for the delay in departure from Guwahati and lack of communication in this regard. In response, Air India Express said, “We are extremely sorry to inform that due to some unknown operational reasons, the flight has to be cancelled. Our team at the airport is making necessary arrangements for all the passengers. We know that this is a difficult situation and we appreciate your patience and understanding at such a time. Rest assured, our team will help you in every possible way.
