Air India Express launched direct flight to Ahmedabad-Chandigarh-Bengaluru | Air India Express Ahmedabad Chandigarh Bengaluru Flights New Routes

Air India Express has started new direct flights from Ahmedabad and Chandigarh to Bangalore. From September 16, Ahmedabad-Bangalore service will be done twice a day. This service provides better connectivity and one-stop destination options to passengers.

Air india express flights: Air India Express started direct flights from Ahmedabad and Chandigarh to Bangalore on Monday. Its purpose is to improve access to the country’s tech capital from these cities. The airline will operate flight twice a day from Chandigarh and once from Ahmedabad. Ahmedabad-Bangalore service will be twice daily from 16 September. This will provide more convenience to the passengers.

The network expansion also includes upcoming services between Dehradun and Bangalore which are scheduled to begin on September 15. The inaugural flight from Chandigarh, run by Air India Express Managing Director Alok Singh, departed from Chandigarh Airport at 16:40 pm. The first flight from Ahmedabad to Bangalore flew at 11:00 pm and arrived at 13:25 pm.

A program was organized to start a flight at Chandigarh Airport. In this, Alok Singh said, “Our new route from Ahmedabad, Chandigarh and Dehradun to Bengaluru soon shows our commitment to make meaningful relations between the state capitals and the major metros. This expansion is another step towards building our All India Network efficiently serving the passengers.”

With these new flights, people of Ahmedabad can use 26 domestic destinations through Bengaluru and one-stop connection for three international destinations. Passengers of Chandigarh can connect 22 domestic destinations and Kathmandu. Bangalore is the largest domestic center of Air India Express, with more than 405 weekly flights connecting 34 domestic destinations.

The airline’s new Boeing aircraft VT-BXB (which is inspired by the Fulkari textile pattern of Punjab) was deployed to operate the first flight from Chandigarh. The airline has launched more than fifty such tail arts on its new aircraft as part of its ‘Tales of India’ initiative, which pays homage to the lively artistic heritage of India.
