New Delhi: The Bar Council of India (BCI) has started the All India Bar Examination (AIBE) 21 registration today, February 11. Eligible candidates can apply for AIBE 21 exam through the official website, barcouncilofindia.org and allindiabarexamination.com. The last date to complete the AIBE 21 registration is April 30.
The AIBE 21 registration fee payment last date is May 1. The application correction facility to edit details in the form can be done till May 3. Candidates appearing for the exam will get their admit cards on May 22.
BCI AIBE 21 eligibility criteria
As per the BCI AIBE 21 eligibility requirement, candidates must have passed the Bachelor’s of Law (LLB) 3-year or 5-year programmes through BCI-recognised universities or colleges. Moreover, final year law students without any backlogs and candidates who do not have an enrolment certificate are eligible to apply for the bar exam.

The council has scheduled to conduct the AIBE 21 exams on June 7. It will be conducted as an open-book, multiple-choice test that assesses the knowledge of candidates on various subjects like constitutional law, criminal law, civil procedure and professional ethics. The exam is held in different languages for candidates who are from different parts of the country.
The AIBE exam is held for law graduates and final year LLB students. Those who qualifies get the Certificate of Practice (CoP) which is a permit to practice law in India.
The AIBE 21 syllabus includes 19 subjects. There will be a total of 100 multiple-choice questions covering the 19 subjects in the exam. As per the marking scheme, for each correct answer, one mark will be awarded. There will be no negative marking for the incorrect response. The total marks for the AIBE bar exam is 100.
