In IIT Kanpur, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, while emphasizing on industry-adult cooperation, said that Artificial Intelligence, Cyber Security and Sustainability will play an important role in making India a self-sufficient and developed nation.
CM Yogi Adityanath IIT Kanpur Speech: On Wednesday, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that the cooperation of industry and academic institutions is now not limited to research and innovation at the ‘Coordination’ Industry-Academic Connection program held at IIT Kanpur, but it is a medium to improve the standard of living of common citizens, deal with global challenges and give concrete solutions towards sustainable development.
Industry – solution to global challenges
The Chief Minister said that the brainstorm on issues like Artificial Intelligence, Cyber Security and Sustainability will prove to be important in making India self -sufficient and developed. He said that India once used to contribute 25% to global GDP, but by 1947 it decreased to 2%. India has become the fourth largest economy in the last 11 years and will soon reach third place.

Ability in every letter and every person
Underlining the contribution of IIT Kanpur, Yogi said that the students and researchers here are solving the new technical challenges of the country. He said that the tradition of India has always been that every vegetation, every letter and every person has the ability to become-only to connect them.
UP changed the picture of development
The Chief Minister said that UP, once called ‘sick’, has created a new identity in the last eight years. It is now the second largest economy in the country. Due to better security, infrastructure and investment, the state is setting new standards in every field. Giving the example of Bundelkhand, he said that while there was a problem of migration and dacoits, now there is water reaching every house and irrigation to the fields.
UP progress in cyber security
Yogi said that in 2017 there were only 2 cyber police stations, while now 75 districts have cyber police stations and more than 1500 police stations have cyber desk. State Cyber and Forensic Institutes have also been established. He expressed confidence that IIT Kanpur will play the central role in preparing India’s first deep-tech model.
India will become Vishwaguru again with coordination
The Chief Minister urged the industry not to be limited to earning profit only, but also invest in innovation and research. He said that if the ‘coordination’ of the academic and the industry is correctly ‘, then India will once again get its glorious place.
