Chhattisgarh received investment proposals worth ₹33,321 crore during the Investor Connect program in Ahmedabad. Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai handed over investment letters to major companies. These proposals will create 14,900 jobs in the state.
Raipur. Chhattisgarh state received total investment proposals worth ₹33,321 crore at the Investor Connect event held in Ahmedabad. Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai presented investment proposal letters to companies related to sectors like thermal power, green steel manufacturing, solar cells, pharmaceutical products and medical food supplements in the program. These investments will create approximately 14,900 new employment opportunities in the state. The Chief Minister said that since the implementation of the new industrial policy, Chhattisgarh has received investment proposals worth a total of ₹ 7.83 lakh crore.
In Gujarat, CM Vishnudev Sai interacted with industrialists and discussed investment possibilities.
During the program, Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai met the country’s top industrialists and business leadership and discussed investment possibilities in Chhattisgarh. He said that “the land of Gujarat inspires industry, investment and innovation”. The Chief Minister said that “While Gujarat has the power of entrepreneurship, Chhattisgarh has energy, minerals, skilled manpower and attractive industrial policy” — which provides golden opportunities for investors. He said that Gujarat and Chhattisgarh together will play an important role in building a developed India.
Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai focuses on industrial reforms and investment policy
Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai said that the Chhattisgarh government has made more than 350 reforms in the last 22 months, which have made it easier to set up industries. Permissions are being issued expeditiously through a single window system in the state. Under the new industrial policy, special grants and incentives are being given to industries. Additional assistance will also be given for setting up industries in tribal areas like Bastar and Surguja.
Big opportunities in energy, IT and tourism sectors
The Chief Minister said that Chhattisgarh ranks second in coal production in the country and investment proposals worth ₹3.5 lakh crore were received in the recently held Energy Summit. The state has immense potential for thermal, hydel, solar and forest-based industries.
He informed that Nava Raipur is being developed as an IT and AI data center hub, where companies from semiconductor and electronics sectors are showing interest in investment. Besides, tourism has been given the status of an industry, which is opening up new investment opportunities in the hospitality and wellness sectors.

- Torrent Power Ltd., Ahmedabad: ₹22,900 crore investment, 1,600 MW thermal power plant. 5,000 jobs.
- Torrent Pharmaceuticals Ltd: ₹200 crore investment, pharma unit. 200 jobs.
- Onyx Three Enersol Pvt. Ltd.: ₹9,000 crore investment, green hydrogen, ammonia and steel manufacturing. 4,082 employment.
- Mala Creation Pvt. Ltd., Surat: ₹700 crore investment, 2 GW solar cell unit. 500 jobs.
- Multi Super Specialty Hospital: ₹300 crore investment to expand health services. Local employment.
