Agra Atal Puram Township: CM Yogi launched Agra’s biggest residential plan

Atal Puram Township: CM Yogi Adityanath launched the Agra Development Authority’s biggest residential scheme ‘Atal Puram Township’ in Agra after 36 years. The project will provide housing with world class facilities to 10,000 families.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath gave Agra a grand residential project ‘Atalpuram Township’ after 36 years. Spread over 340 acres, the scheme is being developed with modern facilities near Agra Inner Ring Road. This township is a major example of Yogi government’s urban expansion policy.

The model of land acquisition in ‘Atal Puram’ is different from other plans. For the first time, the Agra Development Authority bought the land by paying 4 times the circle rate on the basis of consent from the farmers. The investment of Rs 784 crore has strengthened the farmers and gave a new direction to the state’s farmer policy.

World class facilities will be provided in this township. This includes facilities like sewerage system, water treatment plant, underground utility ducts, police post, fire station and international convention center. This is a big step towards making Agra a smart city.

around 10,000 families will get houses in the township. The plan will be prepared in three stages and 11 sectors with 1430 plots, 18 group housing units and 96 commercial plots. All these houses will be equipped with every necessary modern facility, which will guarantee a rich lifestyle.

‘Atalpuram’ is not just a housing project, but the roadmap for the overall development of Agra. Its strategic location and public-friendly approach have the ability to convert it into an iconic township of North India. This initiative of CM Yogi will take the identity of the city to a new place.
