Bhushan and Thakurdas emerged champions in the 60+ Doubles category at TSG Pickle4All Season 2, a PWR 100 event, overcoming the experienced pairing of Pankaj and Harish (21-10) in the final.
The title clash brought together four seasoned competitors, with both pairs demonstrating the composure, court awareness and intelligent shot selection that defined the category. While Pankaj and Harish posed a strong challenge, Bhushan and Thakurdas managed the decisive phases better to walk away with the championship.
Rather than relying solely on power, the contest was shaped by placement, patience and an understanding between partners. Bhushan and Thakurdas combined effectively, covering the court well and ensuring that their opponents were rarely allowed to dictate proceedings for extended periods.
Pankaj and Harish refused to make the final straightforward. They remained competitive and continued searching for openings, forcing the eventual champions to stay disciplined until the closing stages. But whenever the match demanded greater control, Bhushan and Thakurdas found a way to respond.
Their victory added another memorable chapter to ,with the 60+ category underlining one of pickleball’s defining characteristics – its ability to remain intensely competitive across age groups.
