Smriti has removed posts related to her marriage and engagement.
Smriti has also deleted the video in which Palash Muchhal proposed her in the middle of DY Patil Stadium in Mumbai. Apart from Smriti, her close friends in the Indian team Jemimah Rodrigues and Shreyanka Patil have also removed all the posts related to Smriti’s wedding from social media. At the same time, all these posts are still present on Palash Muchhal’s social media. After winning the Women’s ODI World Cup, Smriti’s social media posts and videos related to her wedding preparations were greatly appreciated by the fans.
Yesterday, the wedding of Smriti and musician Palash Muchhal was to take place in Sangli, Maharashtra. But on the very day of the wedding, Smriti’s father Srinivas was admitted to the hospital after suffering a heart attack, due to which the wedding was postponed. He felt uneasy during breakfast. Doctors have said that Srinivas will need angioplasty. After this, Palash Muchhal was also admitted to the hospital after falling ill. He was admitted due to viral infection and digestive problems. Palash was later discharged from the hospital.
Palash’s mother Amita Muchhal had told that due to postponement of the marriage, Palash was under a lot of mental stress, and due to this his health had deteriorated.
