Sai Pallavi will next be seen as Goddess Sita in “Ramayana”, one of the most expensive films ever made in India.
There were also reports that she would portray legendary Carnatic singer MS Subbulakshmi in a biopic.
However, the biopic is reportedly no longer happening with Sai Pallavi.
Interestingly, the latest buzz suggests that she will be playing a police officer in a Tamil film.
Sai Pallavi has signed Dhanush’s 55th film (D55), in which she and Sreeleela play the female leads. The project was formally launched a few months ago.
According to recent reports, Sai Pallavi is preparing for a cop’s role in the film. The actress is said to be undergoing physical training and working on her fitness to suit the character.
Sai Pallavi is not typically associated with physically demanding action-oriented roles, but the makers reportedly felt that she was the best choice for the character.
As a result, she is said to be focusing on building strength and preparing herself for the role’s requirements.
If the reports turn out to be true, it will mark a refreshing change from the emotionally driven characters she is usually known for.
