Bhojpuri cinema superstar Khesari Lal Yadav arrived on Friday to file nomination as RJD candidate. But it was not just a formality. When Khesari Lal Yadav came out of the nomination venue, his eyes filled with tears. The crowd of supporters present in front chanted “Khesari Bhaiya Zindabad” and “Lal of Bhojpuri, now the leader of the people!” Was raising slogans. Wife’s form rejected, Khesari himself entered the field
Actually, earlier Khesari Lal Yadav’s wife Chanda Devi was going to contest elections from Chapra, but due to technical flaw in her nomination form, the form was rejected. After this, Khesari decided to take the field himself without any delay.
Speaking to the media after the nomination, Khesari said, “Both of us have the same aim – to serve the public. When my wife’s form got stuck, I got a call from brother (Jitendra Rai), and I immediately said that now I will serve the people of Chapra.”

Whatever I am today, I am because of the public, and now I will work for the same public.” After his statement there was applause in the crowd. Many supporters became emotional and cried.
