Taking a tough step before the 2025 elections, RJD has expelled 27 leaders for 6 years. This action has been taken against anti-party activities and indiscipline, so as to ensure discipline in the organization.
Patna: Just before the Bihar Assembly elections 2025, there has been a big explosion in the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD). Taking strict action in the organization, Tejashwi Yadav has expelled 27 leaders and workers from the party for 6 years. This also includes 2 MLAs and 4 former MLAs. This action of the party has not only increased the internal turmoil but has also created a storm in the politics of entire Bihar.
In the letter issued by the RJD high command, it has been said that the leaders against whom action has been taken were involved in anti-party activities. Some leaders were accused of campaigning against authorized candidates, showing indiscipline and making statements beyond the party line. The party has given a clear message that indiscipline will not be tolerated at any level just before the elections.
RJD said in an official statement that discipline in the party is paramount and the unity of the organization will not be tampered with under any circumstances. It was also made clear in the statement that action will continue against any leader or worker who campaigns or rebels against the authorized candidates.
