Taking strict action in the organization, Tejashwi Yadav has expelled 27 leaders and workers from the party for 6 years. This also includes 2 MLAs and 4 former MLAs. This action of the party has not only increased the internal turmoil but has also created a storm in the politics of entire Bihar.

In the letter issued by the RJD high command, it has been said that the leaders against whom action has been taken were involved in anti-party activities. Some leaders were accused of campaigning against authorized candidates, showing indiscipline and making statements beyond the party line.
